Boutique and Quilt Sales

This information is for Guild members who would like to sell new, hand-made items in the boutique or sell the quilt that is displayed in the show.

If you would like to donate items instead, please visit the Boutique Donations page.

What is accepted?

New, handmade items created by Piecemakers members will be featured throughout the event in our Boutique. You are invited to participate by making and entering items to be sold. This is an opportunity to earn some dollars for your handiwork or contribute much-appreciated funds for Guild activities.

All forms must be received by Tuesday, April 7, 2026 (April Guild Meeting).

Contact Amy G. for the necessary paperwork.

Sellers participating to earn money

You may enter as many items as you like, but all things should be new, well made, and in excellent condition.

Note:

  • You will price your items (with assistance by Amy G. if wanted).

  • Piecemakers will retain 15% of the selling price of each item to offset costs.

  • Sales tax on the selling price will be charged to buyers and forwarded to California.

  • Members selling items for profit must volunteer at least two hours in the Guild Boutique. These hours are in addition to your regular quilt show volunteer commitment and allow us to provide the best boutique service possible.

  • When the buyer pays for your articles, the item(s) will change hands. Piecemakers will send a check to the member who submitted the articles (s) a few days after the show's conclusion.

  • Unsold item(s) can be picked up between 4:00 – 5:00 p.m. on Saturday (5/30/26) at the end of the quilt show. If you are not available, please designate an alternate, or you can pick up your sale item(s) at the next Guild meeting on June 2, 2026.

Entry Guidelines

  1. Entrants must be members of Piecemakers.

  2. Any number of items may be entered, providing space is available. You must submit a list of things you want to sell on the entry form. If an item is large, include the dimensions.

  3. When your entry form is received, you will be assigned an identification number; sales tags will be given to you for each item(s) you have entered, along with instructions.

  4. If you enter a quilt, it will be folded unless you provide a quilt stand.

  5. Attach the provided sales tags to each item, following provided instructions.

  6. Entrants must sign below the Insurance Waiver and Assumption of Loss Release statement on the Boutique entry form.

  7. Please respect the copyright holder and acknowledge copyright by giving credit to a book, magazine, pattern, or kit. If the work is your original design, check that box on the entry form.

  8. If you are entering items, you will need to volunteer for a minimum of 2 hours to the Quilt Show Boutique in addition to the time you volunteer for the quilt show.
