Where are meetings held? When should I be there?

General meetings are held the first Tuesday of every month at:

Hungarian Reformed Church
35660 Cedar Blvd
Newark, CA 94560

Members and guests meet at 6:30 pm to socialize and the meeting runs from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Our meetings are also available via Zoom for those who can't make it in person. The link is sent out to Piecemakers members prior to each month's meeting.

What happens at the meetings?

Many of our meetings include speakers with national reputations who present inspiring and informative presentations. This is a great opportunity to examine prize-winning quilts and to gain inspiration from innovative techniques. Some months, participants enjoy member-conducted mini-workshops or trunk shows. Check the calendar to see this month's topic.

Stop by the Free Exchange table to pick up some new-to-you fabric, supplies, and other things.

Purchase tickets for Ways and Means. This is your chance to win a gift bag of quilty things, donated by guild members. Proceeds from ticket sales directly support guild activities.

Drop off any finished tops or quilts that you'd like to donate to the Community Quilts team.

Bring a snack to share during your birthday month - or any other time! Beverages are not available, so please be sure to bring your own.

Our meetings end with Show and Tell. It's a mini quilt show populated by the quilts you make and is very popular. Bring 1-2 quilts to show to the group.

Are meetings open to guests?

Yes. Guests are always welcome. Forms are available on site for those who would like to become members.
